Who can vote?
You can vote if you are a Thunderchild First Nation Citizen, will be 18 or older on Election Day, and otherwise qualify as an elector under the Election Act. Citizens living on or off reserve may vote.

If you cannot attend an advance poll or vote on Election Day, contact the Chief Electoral Officer or a Deputy Electoral Officer by Tuesday, September 29, 2026 to arrange electronic voting. Electronic voting is available only to electors who register for it.

There is no voting by regular mail. Earlier election notices that mentioned mail voting have been replaced by the amended notice.

Contact the Chief Electoral Officer if your name is missing or incorrect on the electors list, or if you are unsure whether you qualify to vote. Under the Election Act, the electoral officers can consider an eligible voter whose name is missing from the list at a polling place.
